Quality Control
at Every Stage

Our quality control process covers the full production cycle -- from raw material verification through in-production checks to pre-shipment inspection of finished goods and packaging. Every order is checked against the specifications and samples confirmed with you before production begins.

We do not claim certifications or test results we have not obtained. What we describe here reflects the actual checks we carry out on each order.

Quality control overview

Raw Materials

Wood, fabric, hardware, and packaging materials are checked on arrival against agreed specifications.

In-Production

Dimensions, assembly, and finish are verified during production runs before the batch is completed.

Pre-Shipment

Finished goods and packaging are inspected against confirmed samples and order requirements.

Issue Handling

Any non-conforming items are documented, and corrective actions are communicated before shipment.

In-Production Inspection

During Manufacturing

Checks are carried out during production, not only at the end. This allows issues to be identified and corrected before the full batch is completed. The following items are checked against the confirmed product specifications and approved sample.

Material Verification

Wood grade, fabric type, hardware finish, and color are compared against the confirmed specifications.

Dimensions & Tolerances

Key dimensions are measured and checked against the approved drawings or spec sheet.

Assembly & Structural Integrity

Joints, connections, and load-bearing parts are inspected for correct assembly and stability.

Surface & Finish Quality

Surfaces are checked for scratches, uneven coating, staining, or other visible defects.

Component Consistency

Hardware, fabric panels, and accessories are checked for consistency across units in the batch.

When issues are found during production

Non-conforming units are set aside. Depending on the nature of the issue, affected units are reworked or replaced. Production continues with corrected parameters before the batch is finalized.

Pre-Shipment Inspection

Finished Goods & Packaging

Before any shipment is released, finished goods are pulled from the completed batch and inspected against the confirmed sample and order requirements. Packaging is inspected separately to verify labeling, protection, and presentation.

Finished Product Checks

Appearance & Visual Quality

Color, finish, surface condition, and overall visual presentation compared to approved sample.

Dimensions

Key measurements verified against confirmed spec sheet or drawing.

Assembly & Functionality

Moving parts, attachments, and load-bearing components checked for correct function.

Hardware & Accessories

All included hardware, fasteners, and accessories verified for type, quantity, and condition.

Logo & Branding Elements

Custom logo placement, color, and print quality checked against confirmed artwork.

Quantity Verification

Carton count and unit count per carton verified against the packing list.

Packaging Checks

Carton condition and structural integrity
Inner packaging and protection materials
Label content, placement, and print quality
FNSKU or barcode labels (where applicable)
Packaging matches confirmed artwork or spec
Shipping marks and carton markings

Amazon orders: FNSKU label verification is performed before cartons are sealed.

Sample, Bulk & Spec Verification

Bulk production is checked against three reference points: the agreed specifications, the approved sample, and the confirmed order requirements. All three must align before shipment is released.

Agreed Specifications

  • Confirmed product spec sheet or drawing
  • Material types and grades
  • Dimensions and tolerances
  • Color references and finish standards
  • Hardware and accessory specifications

Approved Sample

  • Approved pre-production or counter sample
  • Visual reference for color and finish
  • Structural and assembly reference
  • Branding placement and print quality
  • Packaging appearance reference

Order Requirements

  • Confirmed quantity and carton count
  • Labeling and FNSKU requirements
  • Packaging type and protection level
  • Shipping marks and destination details
  • Any order-specific instructions

How verification works in practice

Before production begins, we confirm the product specifications and sample with you. During pre-shipment inspection, the finished goods are physically compared to the approved sample and checked against the confirmed spec sheet. Discrepancies are documented and communicated to you before the order is shipped. We do not ship orders with unresolved quality issues without your knowledge.

Inspection Photos & Records

Shared With Every Order

We document inspections with photos and written records. These are shared with you as part of the order process. Records include inspection stage, date, items checked, findings, and any corrective actions taken.

Inspection Report

A written record covering inspection date, stage, items checked, pass/fail status, and any defects found. Shared at pre-shipment stage.

Photo Documentation

Photos taken during inspection covering materials, dimensions, finish, assembly, packaging, and labeling. Organized by inspection stage.

Corrective Action Record

When issues are found, a corrective action record documents what was found, what was done, and the outcome before shipment.

Quality Feedback & Issue Handling

If a quality issue is identified before or after shipment, we treat it as a priority. Our process for handling quality feedback is straightforward and documented.

01

Report the Issue

Contact us with a description of the issue, photos of the affected units, and the order reference. The more detail you provide, the faster we can respond.

02

Assessment

We review the reported issue against the confirmed specifications, approved sample, and inspection records. We confirm whether the issue falls within or outside the agreed acceptance criteria.

03

Communication

We respond with our assessment and a proposed resolution. This may include rework, replacement of affected units, a credit, or another agreed solution depending on the nature of the issue.

04

Resolution & Follow-up

The agreed resolution is carried out and documented. For repeat orders, findings are recorded to prevent the same issue from occurring again.

Our commitments

  • We do not ship orders with known unresolved quality issues without informing you.
  • Inspection records and photos are shared as part of the order process.
  • Quality feedback is treated as a priority, not a formality.
  • We do not claim certifications or test results we have not obtained.
