OEM / ODM Development

From Concept to Approved Sample.

We work with brands and product development companies to assess manufacturing feasibility, confirm materials and structure, and build samples that match your design intent. Here is how the process works.

Step 01

Design & Reference Materials

The more detail you share, the faster we can assess.

Technical Drawings

Dimensioned drawings in PDF, DWG, AI, or similar formats. Include key measurements, material callouts, and any structural notes.

Reference Photos & Samples

Photos of existing products, competitor references, or physical samples you can send. Visual references help us understand finish quality and construction.

Material & Color Preferences

Preferred materials, fabric types, hardware finishes, or color codes (Pantone, RAL, or reference swatches). Share target cost if available.

Packaging Requirements

Retail packaging design, box dimensions, labeling needs, or Amazon FNSKU requirements. Include any drop-test or certification requirements.

Target Quantity & Timeline

Estimated sample quantity and bulk order volume. Your target production start date helps us plan feasibility and capacity.

Questions & Open Points

Any structural concerns, alternative material questions, or aspects of the design you are unsure about. We review everything before giving feedback.

Step 02

Feasibility & Material Assessment

Once we receive your materials, we review the design for manufacturing feasibility. This covers structural integrity, material compatibility, dimensions, and production process suitability. We will come back to you with our assessment and any questions before proceeding.

Structural Review: We assess whether the design can be built to the intended dimensions and load requirements using available manufacturing processes.
Material Confirmation: We recommend materials that match your quality, cost, and aesthetic targets. Alternatives are proposed where your specified materials are unavailable or unsuitable.
Cost Estimation: We provide an indicative cost range based on the design, materials, and estimated quantities. A formal quotation follows after feasibility is confirmed.
Open Points Resolution: Any ambiguities in the design are flagged and discussed before sampling begins, so revisions are minimised later.

Important Note

Whether a project can proceed to sampling and production is determined by the design review and mutual confirmation. We do not begin sampling until feasibility is agreed and the project scope is confirmed by both parties.

What We Assess

  • Dimensions & tolerances
  • Material availability & sourcing
  • Joinery & structural connections
  • Surface finish compatibility
  • Packaging fit & protection
  • Regulatory or certification needs
Step 03

Sampling, Feedback & Revisions

01

Sample Brief Confirmation

After feasibility is agreed, we confirm the sample scope: materials, dimensions, finish, and any specific construction requirements. This becomes the reference for the first sample build.

02

First Sample Production

We build the first sample according to the confirmed brief. Typical production time is 16-20 working days, excluding shipping. Actual time depends on complexity and material availability.

03

Sample Delivery & Review

The sample is shipped to you for review. Shipping method and cost are confirmed separately. You review the sample against your design intent and compile feedback.

04

Feedback & Revision Rounds

You send structured feedback covering dimensions, materials, finish, and construction. Revision scope, cost, and timeline are confirmed before work begins on the revised sample.

05

Sample Sign-Off

Once the sample meets your requirements, you formally approve it. The approved sample becomes the production standard for bulk manufacturing.

Step 04

Lead Time, Cost & Shipping

Sampling Lead Time

16–20

Working Days

Excluding shipping time

This is the typical production time for a first sample. Actual time depends on design complexity, material sourcing, and current workload. Timeline is confirmed per project.

Sample Cost

Sample fees vary by product complexity, materials, and quantity.

Revision costs depend on the scope of changes and are confirmed before each revision round.

Sample costs may be credited against bulk order payment -- this is confirmed per project.

A formal cost breakdown is provided after feasibility is agreed.

Sample Shipping

Express courier

DHL, FedEx, or UPS -- typically 3-7 days. Recommended for most sample shipments.

Freight

Available for larger or heavier samples. Transit time varies by destination.

Cost arrangement

Shipping costs are confirmed per shipment. Prepaid or collect options available on request.

All timelines and costs are indicative. Lead times, sample fees, revision costs, and shipping arrangements are confirmed per project after design review. Contact us to discuss your specific requirements.

Step 05

Sample Confirmation & Production Handoff

From Approved Sample to Bulk Order

Once you approve the sample, it becomes the confirmed production standard. All bulk units are manufactured to match the approved sample in materials, dimensions, finish, and construction. Any subsequent changes require a new confirmation round.

01

Sample Approval

You confirm in writing that the sample meets your requirements. The approved sample is retained as the production reference.

02

Final Specification Lock

All product specs, packaging, labeling, and order details are finalised and confirmed by both parties.

03

Order Confirmation

Quantity, price, production lead time, trade terms, and payment schedule are agreed. A formal order or purchase agreement is issued.

04

Bulk Production

Production begins after order confirmation and initial payment. Typical bulk lead time is 25-35 days, confirmed per order.

05

Pre-Shipment Inspection

Quality is checked against the approved sample before shipment. Third-party inspection can be arranged on request.

Bulk Production Lead Time

25–35

Working Days

After order confirmation & initial payment

Actual lead time depends on order volume, product complexity, and production scheduling. Confirmed per order.
